25 minutes my BUTT!!

I tried to finish my 1B patient in 25 minutes today. It took me 45 minutes to finish her!! That is double the time limit. I still missed two spots of calculus too, and I think if I would have slowed down I would not have missed them. GRR... Luckily, Instructor Vining made me feel a lot better about it. He said that he has no worries about me going into second year clinic. He told me that he was in the same boat that I am in now, and that my time will continue to decrease. That makes me feel tons better.

    I feel the same way. I am told not to rush, but then I'm told that I need to finish in 25 minutes, and have no errors. It makes me feel a bit incompetent that the second years claim they were able to do it.

    Being rushed is the worst feeling... and to think of it... how do hygienist get done in 30 min???
